This one was really quick and easy. Inkscape has some great tools. I also get a lot of inspiration from a couple of guys who do great tutorials. Check them out at screencasters, here.

Brass Plates Badge

This project took a little more time. Getting the angles and rings right was more work than I thought. Pretty happy with the result though.

Shield with Swirls

So I have been playing with a lot of logos the last couple of days. I wanted to try to make a shield with some vines surrounding it. Once I finally got the hang of making a vine, it went really quickly.

I am surprized by how fast I can make things. It hasn't taken long to find my way around the program.

Family Logo

I have been playing around with the idea of a lot of family logos lately. Here is the latest. I like this one, despite the fact that it is red. I am really a fan of blue, but this just seemed to go better.

A fun little project

This has been a fun prpject for me. It took a lot longer than I expected, but I am pretty happy with the result. I learned a lot with this one and am looking forward to applying this to future projects.

So now, a little ode to my family.

My new blog

I'm starting up this blog as a place to post some of my illustrations. I am a beginning artist, really just a hobby. Hopefully I will be able to demonstrate some progress as I go.
